Buy it! We had a 1270 do the same thing. Ended up only being a spool in the valve body hanging up. So simple to fix since the valve body sits right on the side of the tranny in the open. Not sure if that is what is wrong with this tractor or how hard it is to get into the trannys on the 4WD's but on the others it is really not that bad, just a split at the engine.

Hey Chrysler 513: Ever hear of a Chrysler 413 Flat Head 6??? Are you sure you didn't leave a zero out? The tractor is worth more than that in parts. You would want to rule out all the possibilities of something simple, but if you have to get into it,here is what I did. It is different from the Shop Manual. I removed the engine & dissassembled the Pow'r Shift Unit piece by piece as opposed to a whole unit. That way I could handle it.
