Radiator Hoses and Thermostat, 430 (441)

I just ordered the bottom radiator hose for my 430 from the local dealer, but he indicated the top hose was no longer available, nor was the thermostat that is located in that upper hose.

Any suggestions where I might find the hose/thermostat combination? The hose looks like a straight 2" hose, but if I replace it with only a length of standard hose (as the parts man suggested), the system will be without a thermostat.....

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions

Joe Young

Thank you for the offer. I went back to the dealer this morning and found the parts man did locate the correct part number. I now have a thermostat on order. Thanks to all who replied....

I just used striaght hose and found a thermostat of the correct temp, ground it down to fit just inside the hose. Then put a hose clamp on hose just where the stat would be. Working well so far.
HTH...Keith
