Hey Cliff, you say that the sleeve seals are still available from CaseIH for the 3 5/8" bore sleeves, how about common rebuild items for these later model SCs? Water pumps, gasket sets, bearings/bushings, etc. I have my heart set on an SC, but I also want to use it around the place and not just on parade day. If something goes bad, can I still find common repair parts without having to resort to tractor graveyards?

Case/IH still has the old style 3-5/8" pistons and sleeves. The sleeves with the single "O" ring. I think the 1953 models and after had the newer style sleeves? Manifolds are only available "used", as far as I know. I figure someone will start making reproduciton ones before too long. No new bearings are available. Re-conditioned main and rod bearings are available from Don L, with yours as trade. Water pumps can be rebuilt. Full gasket sets are available. Seals are available.
