Hey, there isn't much left in one piece on these machines. Does anyone recognize the piston type in the lower right photo? They are used with a 5505 head. Is it am M&W? We can make some would there be any demand?

Yup, I'd say about 1.25 inches at the high part, they dish down in the center but are still raised. The flat part on the edges is level with the block.

M&W I used a set of these in the 60's to help win two Pa. state trophies. HP was in the 50's at 540 shaft- 65 at 620 shaft on a M&W dyno. Farmed then, had some ping at low rpm on reg. gas, unleaded then, Should sell , If you do decide to build, note the wrist pin is offset to relieve thrust, My opinion, they could do without the lower oil ring as I have seen skirt scuffing, I have wondered if the lower oil ring was keeping the skirt from getting proper lube between the rings? mEl
