Did you ever just have one of those days where nothing seemed to go right? I went to move a few tractors out of our barn today, and noticed right off the bat that our VAIW had leaked about a gallon of antifreeze/water on the floor. Then tried to start the VAC-14, and the darn starter just buzzed, even with a jump. Tried to pull start it down the driveway (in the rain), and proceeded to get a few pops and I flooded it. Out of the 6 tractors I moved, I ended up pushing/puling 2 of them back into the barn. Of course in the process I ended up getting our VAS (at least it ran) stuck in the mud, and my truck. Just seems like somedays the decks stacked against me; and maybe I should start collecting baseball cards! Sorry for the whining but dag on it, pushing a few tons of steel around by hand can make for a long day!

Sounds similar to the problems I've had in the past trying to use this old equipment in the hay field. Something was always breaking down. Now, when something breaks down I have duplicates, I just go grab a different tractor or different mower, etc.

After watching the news today about the tsunami crisis, it really puts today into a really good day, compared to what those poor people are going through. As for keepin"em in the barn, it was a little crowded, and I couldn"t afford to wait for it to stop raining or dry up. (Planned on moving the SI and CC to the other barn, but still to muddy, grounds been to slick since Tues. before Christmas, and there calling for 2" of rain by thurs. night). Hate to live by the Ohio river right now! Have a good one!

Just stand back and Thank God that you are not attempting to make a living using those tractors for real. Better days will come.
