Does anyone know of a good source to get new lights for a case 970? I checked with a local dealer and they were over $50/each, and he didn't know if they'd be an exact match or not. I'd be interested in 4 front and 2 rear (tractor has cab)

Why is it that some 70 series only had 2 lights on the front of the cab even though there is room for 4? It seems to be that way from factory, but maybe I'm wrong? Just wondering.

I know you said "new" lights, but you could maybe try some boneyards and find some good used ones. They may need to be cleaned up and painted, but you could save some money. Otherwise, try T.H.E. Company, or some other aftermarket outfit.

Two lights were standard, so most were shiped that way. We got some lights from our Deere dealer and only the wire ends were different. That wasn't any problem to solve.

Hey M-6: For a real good set of lights: On my "70 Series Tractors, I put a pair of Rectangular Halogens up in the top of the Grill. They set back just enough so that the front of the lights are flush with the front of the tractor. I set them back on that ledge. They look sharp & really light things up. Did it for a customer also.
