I just purchased a Case VAC (according to the sellor) for restoration. This tractor has a front-end loader with a hydraulic pump driven from the pto and a wide front end to accomodate the loader. Did Case make the VAC with a wide front, or is this a different model? I have not seen any pix with this setup. ALso, the loader is in excellent condition but I do not want it on the tractor. Is it worth something?

Gregg, I will probably be taking the loader off in the spring, as the tractor is stored at this time. If you want to provide your email address, I will contact you in the spring, when that happens. Currently I dont have any digital pix of it, but can get some in the next few weeks and email them to you. The loader has a really wide bucket but Im not sure if it is a cobble-job or more sophisticated. I would probably send it your way for the cost of shipping, as I really dont want it, once I get it removed. I am located in SW Wisconsin, but the tractor is in central Wis. Tractor and loader have been restored by someone else, and I bought it based on pictures. Will be looking at it later in January, when I get up there.

It could be a VA or a VAI. The VAC will have the square opening in the front for the cultivators. Go to the site below. It shows tractor manuals with photos of the different models.

I'm sure there is someone out there that would like to have the loader. Might try advertising it in the classified ads on this web site. I don't know what it's worth? May be around $300?
