Hello,

Two questions:

-my Case 401 service manual says Case used both a Delco and an Autolite setup for the generator and voltage regulator. Did the Delco setup have the voltage regulator mounted directly on the generator or remotely mounted? Some one mounted a prestolite generator with the regulator mounted remotely on mine at sometime, Case never used one did they? It's interesting to note that the Autolite amp output was listed in my service manual at 4 amps and the Delco at 40 amps could this possibly be a misprint? Any one have an original setup they would like to sell?

-second question. I always see guages listed on ebay for the earlier letter series Cases. How different, if any, are the 400 series?

Thanks,

Mark
