I have a chance to buy back my fathers' 52 DC-3 case . The tractor is in real bad shape. It only has one good rim on the rear, no front rims , no starter, brake housing is gone, parts of eagle hitch are missing , sheet metal is almost non-existant, no lights, and no front grille, as well as other parts that are missing. The tractor has been cannibalized. Excluding sentimental reasons , what would be reasonable to pay for this tractor? I sure could use your expertice.

Just wanted to say thanks for the info on my DC from you and the other folks. dctom , I have a couple of more questions for you or any others out there , if you don't mind . Could you run a history on my tractor? The serial # is 5607778 (both column & block #'s match). Also, what kind of $$$$ would I be looking at to replace parts such as rims,(front and rear, without tires), starter , seat, radiator cap, hood , grille, hyd. ram for eagle hitch, and the right side brake cover. Ball park figures will do .I know there will be lots of general parts to purchase if I do get the tractor, but these are the main ones I will need if in fact the engine is restorable. Thanks to all and to all case fans, have a happy new year.. BG

Better look the engine over good, block may be cracked. They may have stopped using it because of engine problems. I wouldn't want to have to give more than $200 for it.
