Bunky

I believe that the 2 gears are the only difference but it might be just as easy to find the whole box with no teardown and rebuild to do. Probably the best bet is to look in a parts book to be sure

I have two tractors with this style non-adjustable front and one is a VAI and the other has no tag so I do not know what it is but the front ends are different. The VAI front is decidedly beefier and it also has a longer arm on the sector than the other one. I do not know if that is a difference in model or year.

Well I went back to the Scrap yard to get the Steering sector but it was broke and the gear on the steering wheel shaft was broke... So I guess I need to find a Sector or the Gears...

That will work on your 1945 VAC. You are going to need the steering sector that goes with because this front end needs the link arm to go forward to turn left and the normal VAC needs the link arm to go forward to turn right. It needs to be reverse action.

If you had an adjustable wide front you could use the same sector.

The front pictured is off of a VAI or a VAO and maybe a VA (don't know for sure).

You'll notice that the bolster has no provisions (big square holes) for row crop equipment
