730 power steering started working

The power steering on my old 730 has not worked in 6 years. I tinkered with it a couple of times, bled it one time, but never have been able to help it. I finally gave up since I don't use it much anyway. I got it out to winch out some logs about a month ago and the power steering was working perfect. I have used it a couple of times since then and it is still working perfect. Does anyone know what might have happened. The old boy seems to have fixed itself. It sure handles good now.

Sounds like you might have had a blockage somewhere, or maybe a clogged filter that now has a hole in it. I would check the filter to make sure, on my 885 I had a blockage at the banjo fitting on the suction side of the power steering pump and after cleaning and new filter my power steering is fine now, before that I could turn the wheel alot and got little steering. Just my 2 cents.
