i am looking at a David Brown tractor a friend of mine has in his backyard. it has been sitting out in the weather for 3 yrs and it looks pretty rough.
he says it was running when they left it there.
i couldnt get to close because red wasps have built a colony in it, but i think the serial numbers on the tool box are 9901 then 862814.
is it worth anything? any info such as year, hp,
ease in rebuilding would be appreciated,
thanx, cbosarge

Approx. 1975, 53hp,No problem getting parts. Price depends on wether it still runs or not.

Parts for DB's are not all that plentiful. You can get some but pistons and the like are not to be found in my part of the country. If you have to do an extensive overhaul you might have some problems and the cost just might be prohibitive. You should chck with the local Case dealership about the availability and costs of parts which you might need.

Good luck! Jack
