I found 7 Marvel Schebler carburetor TSX-95A New Old Stock carbs here for $95 each. I bought one for my 148ci engine, it was a close to exact match for original, I only had to reverse the throttle shaft and the fuel inlet is on the outer side of carb. I was so pleased I sent for another one as a backup. The owner of this carb shop is retiring and clearing out his stock. He should still have a few left, his name is Jon Hargrove, a very nice guy to deal with.
His email address is. [email protected]

Already have bought some stuff from value built, Carb stuff, Gauges and a few other things. Some people may have luck with there stuff but as far as my luck has been with them is I find better quality at K-Mart. As far as a carb goes they have the Zenith replacement just like most places do. Zenith just wont work quite right.

What kind of a carburetor is a 635 carb? Is this the carburetor manufacturer's model number of the carburetor that you are looking for?

The 635 is Marvel Schebler TSX-635 gas carb used on the 300 & 400 series G148 cid engines. I am looking for a full overhaul kit for one myself.

You may not want to spend this much $$$$$, but V a l u - b i l t Tractor Parts lists a rebuilt carburetor for $170 and a basic rebuild kit for $26.

If you are looking for a used carburetor, check the link below to see if this carburetor was used on any other equipment. You might find a used one that came off of something else.
