Morning Everyone
I normally post over on the Ferguson Board. A freind of mine just bought an old Case Tractor and he wants to know a bit more about it. I have all the info off the plate, but its forgein to me. It reads as follows VAO-5660417 and it was made in Racine Wisconsin. Its orange in colour and he thinks its a 1948. Any help would be great
Thanks -- Barry

Weight is 2846 lbs
VA seies was made fro many years and are great small tractors.
Parts and manuals are fairly easy to come by

Incidently it is not orange...it is Flambeau Red!! (Don't ask I think the design guy at Case must have been somewhat color blind)

Barry, With that sn it should be a 1952 (56-4=52) and is an orchard model. It may or may not have come from the factory with extensive sheet metal covering the rear wheels, some did some did not. Has a 124 cubic inch valve in head eng. that should put out 22.3 horse power on the belt on gasoline. Don't have weight on it. Nice tractors! HTH
