351 or 500b which one do I have?

My dad recently purchased what he tought was a 500b. It has been repainted ih red and JD yellow so the original decals are not on it. The owner said it was a 500b and it had the squared nose tin on it. However when my dad got it home the serial plate sayes its a 351 #6080869. I know these are basically the same tractor, one year apart, with different tin, but if someone could tell me where to look for the serial number stamped on the tractor we could determine if someone put a 351 tag on this 500b. Thanks for any help.

If it is in fact a 350 the front support would have the round feature of the round nose, if the support is square to fit properly with the hood it would be the 500-B. Just my thoughts.
