Sorry for all the questions about sp12 combines and LA tractor interchanges. I have one more and hopefully the last one. Will the fuel tank on the combine inerchange with the fuel tank on the LA? I am missing the tank on the my LA so I dont know what it should look like. The one on the combine looks like it might work. Thanks

I don't know this for a fact, but if the engine for the SP12 is the same as a Model D tractor, then the fuel tanks will not interchange. The D had a smaller tank than the LA.

Brian: You are correct. However, he could use the combine tank to get the LA running while he searches for the correct tank.

True... But I was referring more to if he was trying to use it as a full replacement. However, Tom is right Stephen. You could use it until you find a correct replacement.

I not tring to argue here, but I know the combine engine is a D series engine. The tank is mounted clear off to the side over on the opperators platform. It appears that it might fit an LA. I think I will try and get it and see.
