I can supply you with an operators manual for an 885 which is pretty much the same as the 380. I have the original 380 parts book, and i can supply shop manual. Does your transmission have the forward reverse shuttle or is a straight twelve speed with four reverse gears. I left my email address open, you might as well email me. Did you get a transmission lower case casting number?

I just bought an op manual for my Case (DB) 885 ag tractor from my CaseIH dealer for $20 shipping inclusive. Don't know if your Industrial model is similar enough to use the same book, or if Case Construction can provide a new manual for you.

That's funny. I feel your pain and I've flown a lot of different hardware. There are a lot of knobs and levers. :)

Elmer appears to be the guru on these machines (I'm the new kid on the block) but I do have the Case shop manual (9-6701) and it's over 600 pages thick. The operators manual (9-4841) and the case parts book (A1273) are a good investment.

The I&T C-31 manual is okay if you need a quick fix.

Hey I am saVING your info. I took the unit to a trade school today. What seems the catch now is what main castings (bottom) which house the transmission will interchange . Will a DB 880 interchange with the 885 (case 380) lower casting work????

Sorry, I can't help on the 880/885 change. I'm lucky to know the details on the 380/885. And it's been a learning curve. :)

We have a local equipment salvage firm where I live (Ohio). Perhaps they would have an answer for you. They deal in Case heavy equipment (big stuff) and had three Case 380's laying around in bits and pieces. If you want a phone number, drop me a line.
