Thanks to those of you that responded to my questien yesterday. When my neibour told me I could have what ever junk is on his place along with the LA. I begain to look at the sp12's closer only one still has an engine. Even though you guys explained that the engines are smaller I still wondered if some of the parts like carbs, starters, and generators might interchange. They almost look like they would. Also what about the rear axle hubs and other steering componets. Thanks for the help.

Not sure but the SP12 should be a 6 volt system and the LA is 12volt so the generator's won't even interchange. Does the engine in the combine turn over, if it does would you be willing to sell it???Feel free to email me by clicking on the link above.

I stand corrected, Mine had a alternator on mine(I know its not original)so for some reason I was thinking they were 12 volt. Guess thats what I get for thinking :):)

They won't interchange. Especially the engine parts. The D Series and LA Series were similar, but they won't swap out.
