Does any one know the number of teeth in the DC differential gear and also the pinion on the sliding gear shaft which drives it?? Also is the driver sproket on the rear chain drive 9 teeth?? I am trying to figure out speed ratios for building a DC-4X4, diesel, (4.2 liter Nissan, turbo diesel. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm going to do it just for fun. Hey! This is Cambodia, gotta have something to slog around the mud with.

Hey Cambooted..
You know, I saw an old IHC 10-20 this year at the Mid Michigan old gas tractors show that was customized by the owner back in the early 1930's. He's got an old military truck axle in the front, dual transfer cases, and made the rig a monster 4x4 tractor. Story goes that he wanted a tractor that would pull 3-4 bottoms and go through just about anything, so he made one. It's really something to see, and hard to believe the guy built it himself back in the early 30's. My email is unblocked if you want to ping me, I'll send you the pics I took. It's pretty cool in my opinion..

Fried brain or not, I'm still going to do it! Im going to have a sliding gear shaft made with an extened shaft out the left side of the tractor to a drop box and then to a 90 degree gear box bolted to the drawbar clevis with diveshaft to a Toyota Land Cruiser 4X4 front end mounted on a modified heart shaped casting with 34" OD rice tires on the front. Clear as mud?? Should be beautiful, still look like a DC, power steering and all, hydralic clutch and 75 hp diesel! Yahhoo!

I have been keeping an eye out for years fr 2 older case combines which used vac rears with one long axel and one short axel which was powered backwards through the vac pto. I wanted to use a standard vac for the needed 2 short axels , make atriculation and power with a DE power unit off a combine giving 4 wheel drive .
