Hi all

Just got my first backhoe - a 580D

I need to replace some hoses.

Some appear to way to long.

Is there a list of all the hoses and their specs for this loader.

Also what are the fitting specs

Thanks

Mick

Most C.D.& E's use a #14 JIC female fitting at the valve body of the hoe-ending up with a male of the same size at the other. If it takes a 1 1/4 wrench it's a #14,if your working on a hose at the bachoe control valve, save yourselve alot of aggrivation get a 1 1/4 crow foot wrench.

Hi, If you find a parts manual for your hoe. It should have the hose and fitting info at back of the manual. My model #31 manual tells the length of each hose and the fitting part numbers. But its all Case numbers, not alot of info that would help at a hydraulics shop. I have my hoses made at a local rubber dealer. Half the price of hoses at the local hydraulic shops.
Try the crawler/backhoe forum too. Best wishes, Dennis....
