I went today to a mans place who has some old Case's in his bone pile. I found 2 DC4s one is fairly all there the other is really parted out. The better one is missing both front rims and one rear rim no gas tank or hood and is missing the head and I think all but one sleeve pto and no hyd. He has another rear wheel and rim in the parts pile and a gas tank. There is also an L missing front rims hood and gas tank and other than that is all there I think the bottom engine pan is partly broke and open. Also there is an LA on LP with a big canopy on it covering the entire tractor it is missing all 4 rims. It is complete and is has original paint I wish I had saw if it had a can on the exaust it has hyd and looks very very straight and is all there. I can get these for junk iron price. I think the L and LA is what I should maybe get what do you boys think?? R Wyler

If you are paying junk price why not take them all? You may find another one or two to use up all the various parts.

Well that is a good point I wish I knew about what junk price is going for right now that LA sure is nice other than needing rims and tires the engine is most likely froze. R Wyler

About $40 a ton, just sold some yesterday. (Don't worry there were no tractor parts)

That sounds like a very good price for buying tractors when they are being sold for junk price GRIN. I might just take that LA and maybe the L. Those DC4s are tempting as well. R Wyler
