I'll give you my opinion of the Case DC I once had. My rear tires were about 50%. My DC would slip/spin the back tires long before my Olivers and John Deeres would. The DC just wouldn't bite in and dig , like the John Deeres and Olivers. Night and day difference. Now , as far as engine torque goes , The case DC would make any Oliver or john deere look sick. Unbelievable engine torque. While playing with the DC , I would travel up a steap hill in high gear. Idle the engine down , and keep on going. Give it throttle , and RPM's would pick back up with ease. I know any other tractor I have owned / operated would have stalled out instantly on that hill in high gear. But traction , the DC just didn't have it. Even at pulls I've been at, The DC would spin out long before the engine even thought of quitting. If you could put that power/torque to the ground , I think you would have a great puller.

Keep an eye out for the propane head. It the best of the 3 heads that came on a dc.

DC's are very good pullers. Our club had 14 pulls this year and we took 17 firsts, many seconds and thirds, and some 4,5,6th's. We pull the only DC's with the club. They draw some attention to themselves after a win do to the fact there's only one pulling. As for modified engine DC's we also have one of them, lots of money to build due to making custom parts. Cost enough to rebuild a stock DC if you can find the parts. DCPULLER

The tractor pulls that I have attended here in WV have not had a DC at them. I sometimes dream of buying one and entering it at the tractor pull, but I have more tractors than I need now (7 Cases and 4 Farmalls). I guess I could sell a Farmall. :)

In my humble opinion the DC Case is probably as balanced a tractor as ever made when thinking of torgue, hp and traction. They pull hard and to the very end.

Tom Graverson is a good guy to talk to about DC pullers and wont give you any bs about them. My son and I took a trip to IN and spent a day visiting with him. and gathering information. We had a great year pulling our DC. He wont steer you wrong. DCPULLER
