Does anyone know about a sationary engine that was made by Case? The only info that I have on it is that on the tag it states the size as a CE and the serial # is 0332488. The engine is on skids and has a flat belt pulley on it. Please help

According to the figures, Dave Erb and Eldon Brumbaugh give in "full Steam Ahead', only 9 CE skid engines were built in 1931, so you have a very rare piece. I have a 1930 which is even rarer as they only built 1 that year. I know of two others, one in Ontario Canada and one somewhere in Missouri.

There was an stationary model SE (same engine as SC) for sale on YT a few weeks ago for $1K. I think the fellow also had it listed on e-bay. I think it was in PA somewhere. (can't spell Pennsylvania):^)

What you have is also known as a Skid Engine. It is the same motor as what is in a Model "C" tractor. THe one that you have is a 1931 model. If you have one in decent shape, hang on to it, there aren't many around.
