I found a 52 DC with the "3pt hitch" but it has no bracket for the center link. I don't want the tractor if I don't have the bracket. do these break often. I plan to put a 8 wheel wheel rake on it. will it lift it? (about a 1000 pounds). My question is, where can I find a bracket and center link?

The top link bracket (for non-PTO driven implements) is part of the cover that goes over the PTO shaft when not in use. They appear sometimes on ebay...but they are very, very pricey. The top link you need is shorter than most currently in use.

I had a PTO cover plate with top link mounting ears made up by my welder for about $25. Also cut 8 inches or so out of the center of a standard Cat 1 top link and had it welded back together to get the shorter unit.

I don't know what the lifting capability is..I have no problems with a heavy duty 7ft blade or a 6ft mower.
