Case also produced a kit to mount the later rockshaft assembly to earlier (pre '49) VA series tractors. It is shown at the bottom of the image.

Eagle Claw is a fish hook.
Eagle Hitch was Case's 1950's version of a three point hitch. Maybe someone had built an after market or home made version using the high pressure system but the original was powered by the low pressure system.

THat is known as a Stockton hitch becasue it was
designed & built at the CASE plant in Stockton CA. There was an article on it in "Old Abe's News" a couple of years ago.

Tom,
Thanks for that info. always wondered why it was called a stockton hitch. Dad had the manual for one when i was a kid. I have it now. I knew case made it but couldn't figure out the name. I've wanted to build one for my vac s for years but just haven't tackled it yet.
