The left side rear axle leaks on my 530 construction king. The tire is constantly dark with fluid. I would like to replace the seal on this. I figure I will need to pull the tire off and remove the axle shaft. Is there any special steps to remove the shaft and reinstall it?

Hi, If you work on this without a manual, you"ll probably have problems.
You"ll push the axle out using the bull gear axle nut with a spacer block.
The axle has two seals. One at each end. The inner seal is gear oil and the outer is a grease seal (outer bearing has a grease fitting).
You must also set bearing preload when assembling.
Most likely the seal between the final drive and torque tube is bad and the final drive has been overfilled to keep the torque tube level high enough.
Best Wishes, Dennis.....
