730 case Diesel - cracked heads HELP!!

I have a 730 case diesel w/ Case-o-matic that has turned into a money pit!! took the engine apart only to find cracked heads - both are cracked and leaking water by the exhaust valve that is sunk back into the head about an inch - I don"t really want to buy rebuilt heads - seem to run about $340-$390 - the guy at the local shop says he could possibly pin it but its not very likely (hasn"t seen it yet)welding is about the same price as rebuilt, does anybody have any cheap fixes that will at least allow me to get the thing running - seems to have been neglected more than the owner said so I"m figuring on some more problems down the road (pump & injectors) any help would be appreciated - Thanks in advance

Try looking in back of farm journal there is a shop in Chapin ILL that rebuilds or fixes heads.
