I am trying to put our 1030 Comfort King back together and I need the Torque specs for the heads. It is a 541 Engine can anyone help???

Don L,thankyou for the torque specs.one thing I wasn"t thinking to ask is witch valves do I set at TDC.can you help me with that?

Have you installed the manifolds? Before you tighten the head bolts you need line them up useing the manifolds, maybe you have already done this.

Book says, 100 lbs with stud nuts, or 145 lbs with cap screws. Start in the middle of the head , and work out. Manifold gets 25 lbs, 40 at the rockers, and 5 for the vlave cover. Set the valves at .015 for a intake and .025 for a exhaust. Now Getter Done

GEE THANKS, I CANT HELP ON A 1030, I HAD A 930 BUT NEVER TOUCHED IT,AND GUYS DONT LIKE THE WAY I TORQUE MY DC'S LOL TOM
