At some time in the past, do I remember seeing some website or email contact mentioned here where you could contact the Case factory and ask a question to their "archives" or history/research department? If anyone has that contact, I would appreciate it, thanks.

Thanks for the information. I have a VORTOX air cleaner here (Vortox model and series on a tag) that Vortox tells me was designed for J I Case in 1954 but they don't have any more details as to Case application. I'm trying to pinpoint what it's from.

This one is VORTOX model G45AE series 457. That is on a tag mounted on the body of the aircleaner (oilbath type). The Case archives guy responded to my email .... he is away from his desk till Friday so we'll see what happens.

I'll have to go look to see what it says on this one, I've never looked close at it.
