Does anyone know what size disc harrow will a case 300 pull good. The back end width of my tractor from the outside of one wheel to the outside of the other is 6"6". In order to cover my tire tracks when I disc I will have to have a 7 foot disc. I think that would be to much disc for the tractor to pull. Also I dont see any way to adjust the wheels closer together(move them in), so I could pull a six foot disc. Any thoughts?

We used to pull a 10 foot wheel disk with a 530.
A 530 is little bit bigger tractor than a 300. Used to pull a 8 foot drag disk with a VAC. A VAC is a little bit smaller tractor than a 300.

We pulled an 8 foot disc with our SC's. Not sure if you have the round nose or the "B" series but our 300 round nose handled the disc much better than the SC plus we pulled 3 14's with the 300.

I have a 7ft. pull type disc that my 300 pulls fine. The only width adjustment is to change the side of the wheel (hub) the rim brackets mount to. I think the rim brackets on my tractor are on the outside of the wheel on one side and on the inside of the wheel on the other. If you move them in, you will likely have to move the fender and floorboard as well.

It will handle a 7ft good. I pull a 3pt 8ft with a 200B. It is a little light on the front but will pull it good in 2ed.
