case 1170 hydraulic seal

I have a chance to purchase a case 1170 with front end loader for about $4000. It has a small hydraulic leak under one of the hydraulic arms in the rear. The previous owner has affixed a bucket under the arm to catch the fluid. Does anyone know how much $ this would take to fix?

Did that on a 2090 last week. About $11.00. Remove snap ring from rock shaft, remove arm, pry out seal and replace. I got it from the local Case dealer. LOL DK

Check the cylinder rod. If it is smooth the $11.00 seal will fix it. If the rod is grooved or damaged it'll just take out the seal again.
