I was looking at a couple of old wheel loaders to load some snow but the thought occured to me that if you put a loader on the front of one of the older 4WD Cases, you'd basically have the same thing plus have the use of a big tractor besides. Does anyone know if a loader could mount to one of these beasts? If so, what mfg offers this? I've seen them with big snow blades on the front but not a loader. With the steering options, it seems the loader would be a perfect fit.

Hey 2 Live: Only problem with that is the aversion to cold weather of the Power-Shift especially in the crab-steers.

Does keeping them plugged in help with the transmission situation in cold weather use? Could a "trans heater" that would heat the transmission fluid be used?

Hey 2 Live: The engine heater is great for the engine, but doesn't help the tranny. Never heard of a tranny heater, but it's worth a try. Anything to heat the tranny will help.
