I recently picked up a Case 440 as a project tractor. Upon engine tear down I have decided that the machine is not worth rebuilding. It needs a head, radiator, carb, rubber & rear rims, breaks and TLC. The block, gear train & sheetmetal; are in good shape, no damage or rot. I am in upstate NY near Buffalo and am very flexable; if interested respond, if not she's going to the scrapper.

I'd be interested but the hauling, from NY to IL would be a killer. Try John Saeli, or why not part it out? The block alone would probably bring as much as the tractor on ebay.

I did not really think it would part out well on E-bay, though I suppose I could try. I forgot to mention the Eagle Hitch is in great shape as well; the tractor has a sickel bar mower on it and was a local town mower tractor for most of its life. If any one is intreested in specific parts, lets talk. I HATE TO DESTROY A GOOD TRACTOR.

Hey Camboted: Don't get me in any more trouble!! I have a 15/27 that my wife says I have to get rid of & it will probably go for scrap. Too bad cause it has a heavy front axle. Solid Cast Spoke front wheels.
