Hey Jim: Those Temp guages are pretty much non-existant. The Clock Doc (931-924-8888) in Tenn. can repair it or convert it to electric.

John, you mentioned that you had replaced something associated with fuel (sender?) (gauge?) with a universal NAPA on your 350. I think my gauge on 311 works but it looks like the sender might be shot. Moreover, it looks like the top of the sender on my sticks up high enough to contact the hood -- not good for an electrical device! Were you refering to the sender or the gauge? I would like to keep the original gauge. Would a univeral sender work with my gauge? The system hasbeen converted to 12V negative ground.
