770 hydraulic pump

I have a 770 case with trans problems,It's 2nd & 3rd shift lever moves freely and when in first gear it clunks now and then when moving qusstion is do I have to remove steering wheel back to the fuel tank as a unit to remove the top of the trans to find the problem, also does anyone have a manual for this 770 agra-king thanks John

Check to see if there is an inspection plate on the trans top plate. You have probably broken a shift fork. You should be able to remove the trans. cover by first removing the battery box. Raise the cover up and forward and once shifters are free tie them up. Cover will slide sideways and out. Not easy.
