I bought an 830 on LP. Great tractor. Finally got the propane company to come set me up with all the fittings and hose, etc. to allow me to fill my own tank. I was quoted $180 for parts. The gal called and said that the parts were going to be a little higher. I said no problem. They came out and installed it and it works. Today I get the bill. It was $346..... ..including $40 for labor. Do any of you know of an online source for these parts? I would like to do some comparisons now that I've been taken. I thought I was crappin' in high cotton buying propane at .99/gal but then I get stuck like this..... ..you know, farming just don't pay anymore!

Alan, make them stick to their quote, or come get the set up, it sounds like you were getting took at the $180 price anyway, a hose & some fittings don"t cost that much.

Alan, I agree with Roger. Make them come get their equipment if they can't stick to their quote. Here they have to abide by their quote...
And I'll bet you didn't get a kiss either!!!
