Hi guys. Bad news. I rolled my 1941 sc case over. My fault driving on to steep of a grade. Should of know better. I had the tractor for 2 weeks. The tractor was in mint condition all it need was paint. Well now I'm going to need parts. I need: New fenders, hood, radiator, grill parts, steering wheel and shaft, seat, air cleaner, muffler. That is all I can think of I'm sure there will be more as I start to take it a part. I will not get to it for a couple of months.I only came out of it with a hurt leg and a messed up sholder. It could of been a lot worst. Thank God, he had his protective hand over me. I will heal but the tractor will take some money to fix. Something I didn't want to do and don't have time for. There was a case tractor show coming up in Sep. I guess I won't have it there. Well let me know what you guys can do. Will consider any thing if the price is right. I don't have much money I just graduated from High School and going on to school. Let me Know thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but you're right in knowing God was looking out for you. Got to know one thing. Did you buy this tractor from a lady whose Grandfather bought it new?? If you did, I've seen it and it was a Gem for sure. If this is the one I have several pictures you may be intersted in. Forget the name of the town, but it was in Illinois. Let me know and hope you heal uo soon!!

David, I"m not a Case guy at all, I saw your post from the front page of YTMAG and thought I"d look... Thank your lucky stars (and God) that your OK. I had to look up what a SC looked like... Well, the good news is, I"m sure it could look real pretty fixed up!!! Bummer you wrecked it, but at least your still to fix it and share your story!!! I"m over at the Ford "N" board a lot, and from time to time a topic will get started on "What"s your tractors name?" Anyway, I"d think about naming your Case SC "Lucky"!!!
Respectfully,
Adam
PS Always be sure to pass your story on to others. Sometimes we all get to comfortable...

David, first of all, we are all happy you didn't get hurt and thats the most important thing. When you get it fixed widen it out a little as that may help. All of ours were always wide for cultivating and never changed them. SC,DC, CC-3, 739CK, 300, were all used for cultivating. The C was not but we never tipped it over in our hills. Strange thing was the only tractor that ever tipped was the 8N Ford also widened out. Have to reverse the wheels on thos things. My Dad flipped it going after the cows. Check any local advertisers you may have in your area and also run an ad. Don Livingston has a salvage yard down in Austin, MN and has many parts. Also Smith Implement in Downing, WI.

Good luck

Thankful that you did not get hurt. I have a '44 SC. All old narrow front tractors, regardless of make or model, have a very high center of gravity. They were designed to turn very sharp at low speed to cultivate row crops. Extreme care must be taken to not upset these tractors. I had a neighbor killed on a Farmall M when I was eleven and he was fifteen - a tragic death. Old tractors are fun but they can be dangerous. It cannot be said enough - BE CAREFUL!
