Did the RC Case have a flat head Waukesha engine?

Thanks in advance.

Dan

You would have to get the exact model of the engine ,which i don't know off-hand(how embarassing),but i just ordered a new rebuild kit for mine from the first engine shop i went to.Did not have them in stock but could order them no problem. Now any other parts for the tractor will be hard to find ,but atleast it will run!.

Yes. All Rs, RIs and RCs had the Waukesha engine.

Ours did. It was an "over the top steer", early model.

This tractor doesn"t have the tool box so no serial number. The engine does not have a case serial number stamped on it that I can see. The engine is hurting real bad. It does have the CC style steering arm.

Are engine parts readily available for these?

Dan

I"m not sure if there are parts that are easy to obtain, but I"m going to find out real soon myself! Let me know what you find out!

I ran across a small Waukesha power unit in very good condition recently at an auction It had the same engine as the Rs use. I thought about buying it, since theres an RC for sale nearby with a trashed engine. I sat and thought about it and watched it go for $125. I would imagine one could be found again. A friend in the "awl bidness" tells me there are scads of them out there still. It should be a matter of combing through some west Texas oil field supply company yards till you hit the right model.
