Anyone know where I might fing a replacement fuel gauge sending unit for a Case 300? How can you test one or have one repaired?

The original gauge and sender were Stewart Warner. The sender is nominal 240 ohm empty and 30 ohm full. You need a sender with a right hand float swing to mount up to your SAE flange and fit your tank.

To check the existing float, disconnect the sender wire, connect one lead of an ohm meter to the sender terminal and the other lead to ground. Move the float up & down in the tank. The resistance value should be ballpark as above.

Hey Lincoln: I replaced the 12V unit on my 350 with a Universal unit from NAPA. Works well.
