I'm looking at a 930 CK diesel. I believe it has an 8 speed transmission. Are these pretty reliable? What is it rated for HP? Are these tractors able to switch from 540 - 1000 RPM PTO?? One more..... How do the hyrdaulics hold up? Any other info or help would be appreciated!!! The guy is asking around $3000, I might try to talk him down a bit. Thanks, Brandon

Hi Brandon:

We have a 930 case diesel with the 8 speed. The plate list it as a 932. The rated HP is 80-85 with 70-72 at the draw bar. This tractor has been reliable for us and we have found it to be very easy on fuel. The only problem with hydraulics (ours has a FEL) have been the hoses. If we had a chance to buy a second one we would consider it. Price is dependent on condition and what the buyer is willing to pay or what the seller is willing to take. Your quoted price seems reasonable.

I think the 930 is rated about 85hp
it's a real work horse. The only hydraulic
problems I've had are hoses and lever ball joints.
most 930's have a hole cut in the hood to check
the power steering fluid.
