May be it's just me, but I see DC and CC pullers, but no one pulling with D's or C's. I would have thought that the wider tires on the D' and C's would have given better traction? I see the lower-built (wheatland type)tractors with the wider tires of other makes (AC's, McCormicks, etc.)used in pulling.

For me, Too short makes front end light. Add the narrow front and with our 12" out weight bracket rule, you actually gain 2 foot.

I guess the antique tractor pulls that I've seen have more restrictions for safety reasons. They have restrictions on the drawbar height (I guess to keep the front end on the ground) and all weights seem to be added to the rear wheels and not the front. I've never seen the front wheels come off the ground.
