Hi, could any one tell me the torque specs on 1070 head, rods, and mains? Also, are the sleeves the press in type? I set mine in just to see if they fit and they won't drop all the way in.On my other tractor (Allis 7040) the book says they should fit right in ad be able to turn with hand pressure! Thanks again! Bob

Hey Bob: I hone the block bore, top & bottom so the bores are clean & smooth. When they are totally free of any build-up, the sleeve will drop in without the "O" Ring on.

Rods 105
Mains 155
Head bolts 180
This is from memory, so if someone looked them up they may be off.
The sleeve should turn with hand pressure without the orings on.
