I made a few rounds disking this morning, and the disk got slower to respond, until finally it wouldn't pick it up. It won't even make the hoses jump. The pump is quiet, but there's no pressure back there. HELP!!!! Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a worn hydraulic pump.

Check the lever for the remote hydraulics to make sure it is not out of position. Have you changed the hydraulic filter lately? On the 780, it's under the belly of the tractor. Sorry, that I'm not mush help.

My 995 did the same It turned out the bolt that held the drive gear on the hydraulic pump on vibrated out from my old brush hog. I bought a new pump before I tore it down. Billy (a good ol' friend) told me I was nuts to buy the 500$ pump before tearing it down. He was right I am NOT sending my e-mail because I'm still embarassed.
Does anyone need a pump?

Cliff, this is Les from the Tales board. I don't have an answer to your question but hopefully Elmer will be along. He's the "go to" guy on anything David Brown.
