There is a Case 1270 Agri King 451 Turbo coming up for sale. It has 51385 hours on it. Does anyone know if anything is bad with this model of tractor. If not what is a good price?

Thanks Kelly from Ft. Wayne

The only thing I know of that could be costly with this tractor is the three bolts (3/8") that hold the clutch pack together will tend to shear. But by now it may have those tapped out to 7/16" or like ours have a pack out of a 94 series and have the 1/2" bolts. Most likely the rearend and tranny have been updated so she should be good to go. Great tractors. We have two and love them. We paid $7800 for a cherry '77 model 2 years ago with only 1800 hrs and a fresh engine, duals, air, and full weights. Check for water in the oil, forgot that they tend to leak around the sleeves which is an easy and cheap fix if you do it yourself and do it before the bearings get ate up, if it is the original engine anyways. Good luck.

If you are right on the hours that must be the most worn out machine on earth. You must have hit an extra number.
