Hey DCTOM: In 1988 I bought an SC at a junkyard auction and over the course of 8 years I completely restored it. But I have no history on it. SC8039932. Anything you find on it will be greatly appreciated.

Built sometime in 1954
Shipped to: Petty Enterprizes Concord, NC.
Engine: 450 cube 4 barrel carb and NOS
Clutch Change in 1956: twin disc button clutch with 1500# pressure plate.
Tires: 12.4x38" Firestone radial slicks
Tranny: 1st gear 2.5 mph 2nd gear 5 mph 3rd gear 8 mph 4th gear 72 mph
I must have picked up the wrong build card, because it varries a little from DCToms..

Did they field test this one at "Indy" instead of in Nebraska? :)
