Have any of you had experience with factory blemish/seconds rear tractor tires? They are priced pretty reasonable. Is a person wise to buy them? They would be rear tires for my SC and DC.

Glenn, do a search for "Tire Town" their in Kansas. I have not bought tires from them but some folks around me have. haven't been to their site in a while but I'm thinking that rear tires for my H farmall are $165,00 each, 650.16 fronts are around $27.00 each. and I think they have blems. I did call and talk to a guy at tire town to check the prices but my tires are not that bad so I'll use them for another year or two..

I looked for used tires for my SC for several months (they don't exist) before I spent the money for new ones. I gave $300.00 each side installed four years ago (2/3 of what I gave for the tractor) and that was about $200 cheaper than any other price I had found. The dealer did not claim they were 2nds and I don't think they are but I would have bought 2nds if I could have found them.

I have purchased two sets of Titan blems, a set if 13.6 x 38 for my DC and a set of tubeless 11.2 x 38 for my SC. I've had the DC tires since '99 and the SC tires since 2001. The only thing wrong with them is the bars do not match up perfectly at the center of the tire, about 1/16". They pull and hold air fine, even the tubeless. I got my tires from Nebraska Tire. The 11.2's are $140 each.
