I have a '64 930 that had both bearings shot in the steering gearbox,Case/I.H. dealer ordered bearings, they came in but just the outer race and inner cone, no rollers or cage, I afraid I may not be able to get these, they are going to do some checking, but if not available, does anybody know if a parts store bearing, etc. will have same dimensions? Thanks for any help-Willie

Hi, Thanks for the replies, got the parts in and it's all there and have it put together now, power steering still won't work, but at least i can steer it when it's rolling. Thanks, Willie

I just rebuilt my 930 steering box last winter & the bearings are sold in a three piece set. As I remember, it was the inner race, outer race & the rollers. Got them from Bearing Headquarters in Springfield, Mo. They were cheaper than Case Dealer.

The term "Cone" means an assembly of the inner race with rollers and retainer cage. Sounds like the dealer didn't know what he ordered. Most any bearings are available through dedicated bearing supply stores, check for industrial suppliers in your area. Case has never actually made bearings, they like most other vehicle builders buy the bearings from other companies to install as OEM and box-up for service, which usually doubles the price. I'm sure you can get what you need.
