I just got a service manual for my case 380 from the "other" tractor site. It's a reprint and I'm not happy with it. It doesn't have a spec section, the gearbox from the clutch back is only in text... no pictures and a lot of the pictures in the other sections are not clear. $65, I thought I would get more. Other than the Original Case manual is there a good alternative?

Is your 380, a David Brown 380, or an IH 380?

Its a Case 380CK. The Serial #is 885 as in David Brown. "David Brown" is cast into engine block.

The only thing i can fix you up with is an 885 manual, pretty close to the same thing. The only thing it does not have is the shuttle transmission. I have the 380 parts book too.

How much difference is there between the 380 and the 885 DB? I thought that the DB885 was the Ag version of the Case 380. By shuttle transmission do you mean the ability to go up (forward) from first to reverse in a straight line? Art
