411-B to be for sale soon

A gentleman asked me this evening to help him sell a 1958 411-B. Hope to go look at it in a week or two, and get it listed it for sale. Its a hundred miles away at this point. He says that it runs great, is in excellent condition and is used to mow a small pasture on a regular basis. He says its too big for his needs, and wants to downsize.

Did all 411-Bs come with the Case-o-Matic?

Would 3500.00 be a reasonable asking price? He'd like to start there and see what happens.

I'll take pictures and post them as soon as I get to see the tractor, if anyone is interested.

The 311 and 511's had a standard transmission, while the 411 and 611's had the case-o-matic transmission. If everything is in good working order the 411 is a fine working tractor and compared to what $3500 will buy today you'll get alot for your money.

Yes they all had COM tranny. You will love the tractor. Does 3500 come with the mower? That might be a little steep, but if you want it, go for it. Good luck. I have a 411B, GREAT tractor.
