Case 310 Info

My buddy just bought a Case 310 tractor.

He's wondering about the specs (ie. HP/Torque figures) and if a owners manual (reproduction?) is still available.

Are there any good sites dedicated to these tractors?

Thank you.

The owner's manual is still available from Case/CaseIH. Their price is cheaper and better quality than the "reprints" available on many websites.

I phoned 4 different dealerships, and every one said that it wasn't available. No one knew what I was talking about, none of the parts/service guys at the dealers heard of a Case 310.

I'm helping my buddy do some work on it, so an owners manual would help a great deal.

I'm going to pick up an I&T repair manual, so that might help a little, but I would still like to get a OEM owners/operators manual.

Does anyone have a Case part number for the owners manual?

There was/is no owner's manual for the Case 310 per se. There is an owner's manual for the Case 300/400 series. Even though the number changes according to the configuration of the tractor, the same owner's manual applies to all. You'll find that there is also a separate owner's manual for the loader/backhoe that duplicates some of the infomation in the general 300 series owner's manual, but provides specific applications for the utility version. I was in to my local dealership last week and saw the owner's manual listed, as well as the service manual and parts manual. FYI, the service manual comes to about $50 after tax/freight/etc. The loader/backhoe publications may only be available at Case construction equipment dealerships. I haven't tried at the local CaseIH dealership for those publications.

I got mine off Ebay. Mine is a photocopy of an original Case manual. You will be better off if you buy a copy the manual published by Case. It is much better than the manual published by I&T. The I&T manual is better than nothing though.
